COMPLETING THE PURCHASE
POST POSSESSION & WARRANTY
Here’s where that home you love starts to become yours. You’ve chosen the location and model, now all you need to do is secure financing. Not sure where to start? We can help with advice and education — we can even help you find a mortgage broker, if you need one.
We will guide you through the writing of the agreement and explain the details regarding your home and make sure that all of your questions are answered. Upon signing of the agreement, an initial refundable deposit will be required and your sale will be based upon conditions within the agreement. Once conditions have been removed, the deposit is applied to your down payment.
You’ll also choose interior finishes here for any home purchase that is not already under construction.
Mortgage approval. After writing, our sales team faxes all the relevant documents to your mortgage broker on your behalf.
Once the mortgage is approved you’ll visit with our sales team and sign off to remove the condition to firm the sale. This is when the second deposit (the balance of the 5% down payment) is due. Congratulations!
We know you will be curious about how it’s all coming together, so we’ll give you regular updates as well as a chance to see your home up close as it’s being built.
This is the final stage of construction. We’re putting the final touches on construction, and you’re getting ready to make your big move.
