When is the community launching?

Livingston will be launched in February or March 2017 and sales centres and showhomes will be available at that time. Some builder partners may start doing pre-sales at the end of this year.

What kinds of homes will be built in Livingston?

The four architectural styles found in Livingston are Farmhouse, Prairie, Contemporary and Craftsman. Depending on the specific location within the Livingston Community, these styles will be modified to suit the appropriate district.

Styles located in the Meadows district will have traditional exterior materials and detailing while Midtown elevations will have some contemporary exterior materials and non-traditional detailing. Styles located in the Uptown districts will focus on elevations with contemporary materials, colours and detailing.

Will there be schools in Livingston?

Yes, we have allocated 6 school sites in Livingston including elementary and high schools. The first school will be built in close proximity to the HOA and the public plaza. The first residents of Livingston can bring their children to surrounding communities for schools and should check with the Calgary Board of Education for more details.

What type of amenities will be available in Livingston?

Where is Livingston?

Livingston is unique that it straddles Centre Street North and the community will be spread over the NE and NW quadrants of the city. It has Stoney Trail to the South, 160th Avenue to the North, future 14th Street to the West and future 6th Street to the West. It is directly north of Harvest Hills and Panorama Hills and in close proximity to the CrossIron Mills Shopping Centre and future New Horizon Mall.

A type of residential plan that includes a number of recreational amenities such as parks, lakes, bike paths, and jogging trails. The scope of the plan is very large scale and the number and variety of amenities clearly separates it from a normal plan for a housing subdivision. Livingston is the Brookfield’s first master planned community since Auburn Bay.

When is the 2nd phase opening?

Likely in 2018.

What are price points for Livingston?

Livingston will have a variety of product types such as condo apartments starting from the $100’s to single family homes up to the $700’s.
